Scripture: Psalm 150
1 Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty firmament!
2 Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to his surpassing greatness!
3 Praise him with trumpet sound;
praise him with lute and harp!
4 Praise him with tambourine and dance;
praise him with strings and pipe!
5 Praise him with clanging cymbals;
praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Today's Meditation:
This Psalm could be a song, a poem, or a poem set to a song. Regardless, we are to praise God wherever He is, in His Sanctuary, in His creation, and as His Spirit within our hearts, thanking Him for what He has done and how great He is. We are to do this with all that we have: With our voice, instruments, dance, the labors of our hands, and with the bounty he has given us. For as long as we breathe, we are to praise the Lord.
Prayer:
Lord, may we praise you in every facet of our lives, with all that we have, for as long as we live. Then may we continue that praise in your presence in Heaven.
